Delete your account and data 🐾

A DogWOW account is optional. If you never signed in, there is no account to delete, and almost everything DogWOW knows lives on your phone only. Deleting the app removes it.
Delete it yourself, in the app
This is the fastest way and it takes effect immediately.
Open DogWOW → Profile tab → Settings → Account & legal → Delete account, then confirm.
Ask us to delete it
If you no longer have the app, write to us from the email address you signed in with, so we can tell which account is yours.
We answer within 2 business days and delete within 30 days at the latest.
What gets deleted
Straight away, and for good:
- Your account and your email address.
- All sign-in sessions on every device.
- What the AI trainer remembered about your dog.
- Your conversations with the trainer, if you turned sharing on. Without that switch we never stored them in the first place.
- The topic statistics tied to you.
Everything DogWOW keeps on the phone itself, your dog's profile, your sound library, your recordings and the bark journal, goes away when you delete the app. We never had a copy of it.
What we cannot delete, and why
- Your subscription. It belongs to your Apple or Google account, not to us. Cancel it in the App Store or in Google Play. Deleting your DogWOW account does not cancel it and does not refund it.
- Payment and invoice records. German tax law makes us keep them, normally for ten years. They are not used for anything else.
- Anonymous statistics. Counts that carry no user behind them, for example how many people asked about leash pulling. Nobody can trace those back to you.
Just the trainer's memory, without deleting anything else
If you only want the AI trainer to forget what it learned about your dog: DogWOW → Profile tab → Settings → AI & data → Forget everything. This works whether or not you have an account.
How long data lives even without a request
We delete on a schedule anyway: usage counters after 30 days, shared conversations after 90 days, the trainer's memory after 365 days without use, topic statistics after 365 days, feedback after 2 years, and sign-in sessions after 400 days without use.
