Recording starts only when you start the translator, and it stops by itself once your dog has barked. The privacy policy spells out every step.

Can I record and share videos?
Yes. DogWOW films your dog's reaction inside the app, so you never have to switch to the camera. One tap sends the clip to friends or to social media, and each clip carries a small DogWOW.app mark. Every translation can also be shared as a card with the sentence your dog got. Nothing is posted without you.

The download is free and starts with a 3-day free trial. After the trial a subscription keeps the translator, the AI trainer and every sound unlocked, and you can cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play settings.
