How the winner is picked
A panel of three judges selected by the Sponsor scores every eligible entry on written scoring sheets. Judges' decisions are final. This is a contest of skill, chance plays no part.

Keep the volume moderate and never play sounds directly at your dog's ear. Stop if your dog shows signs of stress. Videos showing a distressed, provoked, or frightened animal are disqualified, no $500 is worth a scared pup.
FAQ
Do I have to pay to enter?
No. No purchase or payment is necessary, and paying doesn't improve your chances. The app's 7-day free trial is enough, or skip the app entirely and use the web entry form above. The app itself offers an auto-renewing subscription after the trial, but that has no effect on the contest.
Who can enter?
Legal residents of the 50 US states or DC, 18 or older. Employees of BTechnology GmbH, the judges, and their households can't enter. Void where prohibited.
How is the winner picked?
A panel of three judges selected by the Sponsor scores all eligible entries: Dog Reaction 40%, Creativity 30%, Entertainment 20%, Community Response 10%. Highest combined score wins. The judges' decisions are final, full details in the Official Rules.
How and when do I get the $500?
The winner is announced on [ANNOUNCEMENT DATE] on @dogwow and notified directly. After signing a short eligibility affidavit and release, the $500 is paid via PayPal or bank transfer within 30 days. Taxes are the winner's responsibility.
What rights do I give DogWOW to my video?
You keep ownership. By entering you give us a non-exclusive license to feature your video in our channels and ads. You can keep posting and using your video however you like, see Section 9 of the Official Rules.
Can I enter more than once?
Yes, up to 3 entries per person, each with a materially different video. Bought likes, bots, or engagement pods get you disqualified.
